GZR members Dr. KONDO Michio, Dr. YOSHIZAWA Noriko, and Mr. FUETA Kazuo participated in the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP27) in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Followed by the opening remarks from Mr. KIHARA Shinichi, Deputy Director-General for Technology and Environment at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), they presented activities undertaken by GZR, RD20, and Tokyo Zero-emission Innovation Bay in a seminar entitled “Challenge of RD20 toward the realization of a carbon neutral society” held in Japan Pavilion on November 18. They were also on a panel discussing need for collaboration together with Mr. Luca CORRADI, Director of Net Zero Technology Centre, Scotland, with which GZR has established international collaboration.
